An oak furniture TV stand is more of a piece of furniture like an amusement center, cabinet or dresser than it is a regular television stand. Most oak furniture television stands are big pieces of furniture with various spaces for storage of videos, movies, games, books and other items people would like to keep up and out of the way when they are agreeably diverting in the living room, family room or even if they have somewhat of a home theater room with a big screen television. An oak furniture TV stand makes a room look and feel welcoming and lived in.
Carolina Oak Entertainment Center
Sauder Oak Hills Collection holds this oak furniture TV stand or big amusement center which is constructed out of medium density fiberboards with a lasting Carolina oak laminate finish. This hefty amusement unit features a side multi-media storage area for shelving of your DVDs (64), Blu-Ray discs, CDs (84), video games, books, VHS tapes (32) or cassettes in addition to photo albums or miscellaneous family items like board games. The TV shelf supports television sets which weigh up to 175 pounds and two raised doors on the front of the piece of furniture conceal more storage.
Carolina Oak Widescreen TV Entertainment Wall
This is a very distinguishable piece of furniture in that the top piece is in truth a wall to hang a flat screen television on and the bottom percentage looks as if it were part of an amusement center. This amusement wall is constructed out of environmentally friendly wood engineered to perfection with a Carolina oak laminate finish on top. There are two adaptable shelves behind the framed safety tempered glass doors in addition to more storage behind the center doors with a huge shelf running the length of the piece. A flat screen television, up to 60 inches and 135 pounds may be mounted with enclosed brackets on the back panel or ‘wall’ or some could be set on top of the big shelf.
Brook Hollow TV Armoire
This is a cabinet of sorts for an oak furniture TV stand. There are two huge doors that close to present the world with a pretty piece of old-fashioned furniture but when you open it up, it reveals a more progressed time. This is a rich ‘tobacco’ finish and stained and lacquered interior drawers which include black felt lining for no ‘tugging’ on clothes. Top half is split in two with two doors; one side has shelves while the other side is a little closet with hangers. Bottom half of this pretty bedroom armoire inspired oak furniture TV stand is the three huge drawers.
Abbey Oak Highboy TV Stand
This oak furniture TV stand resembles a tall dresser with an opening at the top rather of the primary drawer – which is considered the mission style. There are three long, huge drawers for storing DVDs, CDs, video games, Blu-Ray discs or just when it comes to anything a family would want to keep handy near the television.

Compact, efficient, & low price By Carlton B. Turner The size of this corner TV Stand was perfective for the dimensions of our living room with little wall space. Fits utterly into a corner, is unobtrusive and looks rather nice even though it is not built with real wood veneer. The drawers hold a large total of CD’s and videos. Assembly goes right according to directions and it is rather an awful engineering design that all the elements fit together perfectly. Most of my instrumentation fits without apparent effort into the shelf spaces.
The only problem I had was to discover that the cabinet space available for my amplifier was much too little for the commended ventilation required according to the manual. Amplifiers put out much more heat than a DVD & CD Player or VCR. Also the greatest or most complete or best possible weight on the bottom two shelves is 20 lbs and my amplifier weighs 25 lbs. The movable shelves are supposed to help 25 lbs. One option to provide better ventilation would be to take off the cardboard backing. But the Sauder directions for assemblage say the unit could be unstable without the back attached. I ended up putting my amplifier on an open shelf I as luck would have it had available behind the TV Stand. Overall I’m happy with the product filling my special needs for space and efficacy as well as a very reasonable cost.

NICE WELL ENGINEERED STAND BUT LONG TIME TO ASSEMBLE By CSC Prof The Sauder Corner TV stand is very well designed and engineered. It is sturdy and attractive. The only complaint I have is the assemblage time. It took me roughly 5 hours to complete. There are 128 screws to put in. As long as you have the time and forbearance for assemblage I would strongly commend this stand.
