About the Author Michael Moller has been in computers since his 10th birthday approximately 40 years ago. He’s been in everything affiliated to building and running software systems as a happy hobbyist, professional Programmer, Principal Senior System Design Engineer, Project Manager, and Quality Assurance Manager. He has worked in the computer business in USA, England and Denmark, before he joined Oracle Denmark, 15 years ago, where he worked in Support and later in Premium Support. He has oftentimes taught in Oracle Education, even doing a European whistle-stop tour on Oracle Internals Seminars. His last 2 years in Oracle has been in Development in USA creating the course materials for modern courses, including Internals on NLS and on RAC. Now days Michael Moller is gainfully employed in Miracle A/S, Denmark with consultancy and education.

 Coherent and united flavor, seriously essential topics, infused with practical, real-world experience

I found the firstborn Oak Table book, “Oracle Insights, Tales of the Oak Table” to be inspirational, practical, and fun to read. That was a very rare combination, so I eagerly read this new book as soon as it became available. Also, since the writers are all very active subscribers to the Oracle community, I was very mesmerized in what they would write in this collaborative forum. I was not disappointed!

 Expert Oracle Practices

The book seems to be very welleducated in regards to expert exercises – though I wanted something a little less advanced. I’d commend it for progressed users but newbies must look elsewhere.
