Winsome Wood Wine Drawer Light

Nowadays, wine racks are not just for wine storage, but for home decoration purposes, too. They come in dissimilar materials, styles, shapes and sizes for dissimilar purposes. Wine racks may be made of wood, metal, plastic, glass or combining of any of those materials.

There used to be 5 types of wine racks: shelve-like, wall mount, floor stand, tabletop or countertop, and hanging racks. In huge storage area like cellar or basement you may use conventional shelve-like racks or you may use the newer stackable plastic cubes, which will look better and last longer. The other 4 types of racks are largely employed in littler places to store less bottles but this is where wine racks become more of home decoration than wine storage. Some of these also have places to hang wine stemware.

The wall mount and hanging racks require a little more work to mount it to the wall or hang it from the ceiling. The wall mount racks may store up to 8 bottles and made of wood or iron. These racks are good for kitchen or dining room. The hanging rack is perfective in the kitchen. It may store a few bottles of wine, hang wine stemware and a roll of paper towels. The tabletop or countertop racks store only 2 to 6 bottles and are beautifully designed for home decoration. They are small, light and may be without apparent effort moved around but don’t have places to hang wine stemware.

The floor stand racks have little footprints and may be placed anywhere. They are made of iron and are very, very decorative. I like these racks most because they are exceedingly beautiful. They may store from 8 up to 40 bottles, some of them even have built-in racks to hang wine stemware.

Lately there are some new types of wine racks coming to the market: cabinet-like and cart-like wine racks. The cabinet-like racks are made of wood and normally have drawers for accessaries and hanging place for wine stemware. Some has glass window and a lot of don’t. Some of these are highpriced but look real good if you have sufficient space for it.

The cart-like wine racks or racks-on-wheels are made of wood and look like kitchen cart that may store couple of bottles, hang wine stemware, paper towels, kitchen board and knife. This is perfective for sushi bar.

It does not matter if you are a real wine lover with hundreds of wine bottles to store or if you are just an novice that only has couple of wine bottles, there is always a perfective wine rack for you. It does not just support you coordinate your bottles but also make your room looks good. And a speech starter, guarantee!

ReviewLet the party travel through the house–Winsome Wood’s rolling wine cart will go right along with it. A perfective place to stow all kinds of grape-inspired goods, this small, portable unit features a square countertop for serving, a deep storage drawer, a 12-glass hanging rack, and a 9-bottle wine rack. The solid beechwood construction is naturally strong and a light oak finish adds a warm, lustrous glow. Designed with simplicity in mind, the cart looks fresh and clean in any décor–keeping the focus on the delicious nectars where it belongs. It measures 15-1/4 inches in diameter by 33 inches high; assemblage is required. –Kara Karll

5my wine cart
By Sharon G. Hook
I love this piece of furniture! My husband and I put it together in no time at all, slapped on the wheels, and filled it with wine and our glasses. It is everything I wanted. It matches our diningroom furniture and fits in the room beautifully. It arrived in front of schedule and made a wondrous Christmas present to me from my husband.
I would order again from this company.

3Wine Rack Cart
By amazonfan
The cart was comparatively easy to assemble – the only problem I ran into was that the drawer fit too tight top to bottom. I used a great deal of packing material as shims and was capable to get the height I needed. Another problem I had which is very typical of Chinese made merchandise is that the screws that hold the drawer handle stripped out. I retapped the threads in the handle and applied American made screws and it works fine now.

I am using it for dual intents – one being for it’s basi intent as a wine rack and the other as a stand for a fax/printer in the kitchen. As in the first place intended, the rack works well. As a printer stand, it’s a little wobbly.

I would have been happier if the price was lower since I had to put a heap of extra time and cash into it to get it to work as advertised.

2Keep looking
By Jstals
Decent price, but not at all what I was looking for. Only holds the littler wine bottles. And 4 glasses…??? Only if you want to risk having the 4th one fall off. Drawer does not slide without apparent effort at all. It’s serving it is aim for now… but keeping my eyes open for more spectacular and better.
