Compact, efficient, & low price
By Carlton B. Turner
The size of this corner TV Stand was perfective for the dimensions of our living room with little wall space. Fits perfectly into a corner, is unobtrusive and looks rather nice even though it is not built with real wood veneer. The drawers hold lots of CD’s and videos. Assembly goes right according to directions and it is rather an aweinspiring engineering science design that all the parts fit together perfectly. Most of my instrumentation fits effortlessly into the shelf spaces.
The only problem I had was to discover that the cabinet space available for my amplifier was much too little for the commended ventilation required according to the manual. Amplifiers put out much more heat than a DVD & CD Player or VCR. Also the greatest or most complete or best possible weight on the bottom two shelves is 20 lbs and my amplifier weighs 25 lbs. The movable shelves are supposed to support 25 lbs. One option to provide better ventilation would be to take off the cardboard backing. But the Sauder directions for assemblage say the unit could be unstable without the back attached. I ended up putting my amplifier on an open shelf I as luck would have it had available behind the TV Stand. Overall I’m happy with the product filling my particular needs for space and efficacy as well as a very reasonable cost.

NICE WELL ENGINEERED STAND BUT LONG TIME TO ASSEMBLE
By CSC Prof
The Sauder Corner TV stand is very well designed and engineered. It is sturdy and attractive. The only complaint I have is the assemblage time. It took me roughly 5 hours to complete. There are 128 screws to put in. As long as you have the time and forbearance for assemblage I would strongly commend this stand.

Nice TV Stand!
By RED
After researching various TV stands I chose this one and I am glad that I did. I was skeptical that it might look real cheap since it is made of pressed board material but I was enjoyably surprised. First off, the company shipped it quick. I got it in less than a week. Despite it’s heavy weight, it arrived packaged well (corners were padded) and it was in perfective condition. Everyone was right that it does take a while to put it together. It took my husband regarding 3 hours total to put it together but he has 35+ years construction experience. I didn’t listen any cussing (highly strange for this kind of project) so it must have been real easy for him to put together. The instructions were very easy to follow step by step and I know that I could have even put it together (probably would’ve taken me 5 hours though)!
Once it was together, I thought it was very nice! It does not look cheap at all. Everyone was rectify that it is a little darker than the photo. It is more of a medium oak color but still looked fine with my other oak furniture and the oak trim around my windows and baseboards; in fact it matched the trim perfectly. It looks just as good as tv stands I’ve seen in furniture stores for the 350.00-550.00 range so I feel like I got a good deal specially since shipping was free. I likewise like that my cats can’t get behind the tv stand any longer. The corner unit is flush to the walls. The shelves hold the VCR and a sound scheme fine as the shelves are adjustable. The drawers hold all the extras too. I am very happy with this unit; it looks nice, serves it’s purpose, and it didn’t break the bank!
