Good Item, Not So Great Shipping

Overall, I like this product. It supports my 100 pound tv with ease, and seems like a sturdy piece of furniture. Item arrived 5 days after ordering, as was delivered to my front door, even living on the 2nd floor. The 3 stars rating was given for 2 reasons. First, when I took out all the pieces, one of the shelves was cracked. It is a noticeable crack, but not worth sending back such a massive package over. Second, the assemblage instructions were regarding a 9th generation copy, and the diagrams were totally unlikely to read. To top it off, not all the pieces were labeled, so this tv stand took me over 3 hours to put together, when with proper instructions, it ought to have only taken me 1/2 that long. Overall, the piece looks pretty good, exceptionally for the money.

Don’t hesitate to buy this item

Suffered through the horrid 100+ degrees of Louisiana summer and now see the light of day that fall is soon to arrive. Fall ALWAYS makes me want to redecorate but occasionally the lack of cash makes it impossible. So, I browsed galore web sites for reasonable priced furniture for guest rooms that grandaughter and grandson will use when here for holidays. I stumbled throughout the South Shore furniture and was rather skeptical. I had to convince myself that for that little bit of money, I was getting a semi-quality product and one that was not a horrid experience to put together. Well, let me tell you, I ordered 5 pieces and so far have put together 3, one of which was the South Shore Step One Collection TV Stand in chocolate. Oh my…..what a finelooking piece of furniture!!!! and easy, easy, easy to put together. I then put together the two other pieces and am in heaven because this furniture is fantastic. I had read reviews from others, a lot of good, a heap of bad. I am completely onboard with the positive side of this company and this peculiar collection. If you have needs similar to mine and are attempting to reconstruct without breaking the bank DO NOT HESITATE to buy this furniture. Add to the mix that purchasing from Amazon is a win-win situation, particularly with PRIME, and you have a recipe for success!!

Ok product but came to me damaged…TWICE

I ordered this TV stand and when it arrived, it was damaged. I went to the South Shore website and ordered pieces for the damaged ones. Again, one of the pieces that came in the second batch was damaged. This company REALLY needs to package their items better. I’ve not had a chance to put it together yet, but hopefully, it will be alright. I don’t feel like sending off for yet ANOTHER piece that may or may not come to me damaged. Buyer beware.
