Beautiful but a pain!

We purchased this tv stand from Target and it took my fiance and I various hours to put it together. It was poorly packaged and didn’t even have any sort of cushion for the glass! Luckily not one thing was broke. One of our initial difficulties came when we were sorting out the pieces only to discover that assorted of the pieces weren’t even labeled. Halfway through the construction, the two back panels wouldn’t even fit! After going back through and making sure everything was put together correctly, we concluded that the pieces were cut wrong. We had to cut regarding 1/4″ off each panel just to get them to fit! There are slight gaps in the back because of the horrid fitting of the panels even after our cuts. Our next problem came when we got to the doors. The hinges attached to the doors had to be taken isolated at the joint just to get them to work. Overall, this stand is actually beauteous but the construction is terrible. The directions are clear and easy to read but the cut and quality of the material is little to be desired. If not for the construction, I would have rated this stand at a 5! They actually will have to trade this stand entirely assembled in order to get the ratings the overall product deserves (either that or find a new company to make and package the materials!).
